Refer to the following list of bandsaws based on reviews and ratings to find one that works for you:

1. JET 14-Inch

JET JWBS-14DXPRO has several notable features, which allow it to handle the most difficult resawing tasks with ease. You will have no trouble tacking a resawing job that measures up to 12 inches. Featuring a high tension spring design, you will receive several useful features such as increased power and more control for clean and precise cuts.

Its sturdy and durable design also ensures that you will be able to use it for several years. You can use the bandsaw for materials of different sizes. Its cutting capacity is 13.5 inches (width) and 12 inches (height). You can move its built-in retractable blade guars up and down from zero to 12 inches. This enables you to work on both small and large projects.

Its premium quality cast iron frame with a blade speed of 1500/3000 SFPM allows you to cut through wood easily and quickly. You also do not have to use a riser block. The manufacturers have designed its work table, measuring 15 x 15 inches, to tilt 45 degrees to the right and 10 degrees to the left. The table has a height of 43.5 inches, which allows you to use it on a wide range of jobs.

Other features include upper ad lower bearding guides to reduce friction, a range of features for increased safety and accuracy, a viewing window and blade guidepost to ensure safety, and enclosed stand for increased organization. The only downside is that the manual is not written well.

2. RIKON Power Tools 14″

RIKON Power Tools 10-324 reduce friction due to its upper and lower ball bearing blade guides and thrust bearings. It also increases the life of the blade and ensures smooth operation each time you cut wood. Use its rack and pinion guidepost to adjust the cutting depth by turning the knob.

You can use the inch scale to adjust the guide heights. It features an extra-tall rip fence, which increases fence and resaw bar heights to 6 inches. This gives additional support to the lumber you are sawing into and ripping. It has a 115V power outlet in the rear for plugging in radios, lights, phone chargers, etc.

The bandsaw can accept all types of 111” long blade from 3/16 inches to 3/4 inches in width. You will like how the inside of the saw feels. Unlike other saws where the inside of the saw is roughly painted, the inside of this saw is smooth.

When you are cutting wood, the dust generated from it will not stick to the smooth and rough surfaces. When you have less dust to worry about, you will have less to clean later, thus allowing you to spend more time on completing the job.

Some downsides of the bandsaw include no miter gauge and poor dust collection. Otherwise, the bandsaw is a great tool to add to your toolbox.

3. Grizzly G0555LX 14”

Grizzly G0555LX has features that you will not normally find on other 14 inch bandsaws in the market. If you do find them, they are optional, and you will have to pay extra to add them. The bandsaw features a cast iron frame, premium quality heavy-duty frame, and powder coated paint to ensure durability.

It features computer balanced wheels made from cast iron with rubber tires. Other notable features include its strong extruded aluminum T design resaw fence, miter gauge, and fence scale with a magnifying window. You can adjust the fence for the blade lead. You receive a riser kit with it, which requires you to use a 21mm wrench in a narrow and tight space.

You can replace the bald easily. Some of the things that you will not like about this bandsaw is its poor blade adjustment bearings, difficult to install riser kit, and the blade that comes with it tends to break easily.

4. WEN Two-Speed Band Saw 10

WEN 3962 Two-Speed Band Saw delivers good results. Its manufacturer has equipped the bandsaw with a powerful and noise-free motor. It makes very little noise, thus allowing you to work in peace. There is also no need to assemble the band saw either.

With the bandsaw, you receive a circle cutting guide, a blade tension gauge, a flexible work light, a fence, a 3 in 1 dust port, a miter gauge, and a 1/2 inch blade. However, there are some things that you will not like about this bandsaw.

In the beginning, you will need to adjust a lot and the adjustment process is quite difficult. You will find it difficult to adjust the blade, which causes the blade to pop off the wheels. The blade will also not track correctly regardless of the number of adjustments you make.

Expect uneven cuts and you will also run into a dust collection issue in the wheels, which may cause the wheels to come off. Even though this bandsaw comes at fourth place on the list, it has a good rating and good reviews. The bandsaw comes with a stand and work light. A 9-inch bandsaw is also available.

5. Laguna Tools MBAND1412175

Laguna Tools MBAND1412175 comes with several accessories and has excellent resaw capacity. The manufacturer has created the table insert using cast aluminum. The knobs are welded into the bandsaw for ease of use.

You can clean the bandsaw easily after each use. You will have to remove several parts to change the blades, which can be a hassle for some. You can use the hex wrench to make the required adjustments. You will have to buy the blade separately though, as the bandsaw does not come with a blade.

This bandsaw comes at the bottom of the list because it has more negatives than positives about it such as the table tilting and jamming, poor adjustments, and issues with the blade tension handle.

Which bandsaw have you decided to buy? You can select the best 14-inch bandsaw according to your requirements and budget. If you want to start a job or complete a job and you need a high-quality bandsaw for it, you can choose one from this list.
